Guidelines for Students

College Policies

The following rules and regulations are applicable to all students of Lord Mahavira College of Law. Students are expected to adhere to these guidelines to maintain discipline and uphold the values of the institution.

  1. Any candidate who has taken admission shall have to abide by the college rules and regulations, or any amendments made there in from time to time.
  2. Eligibility criteria shall not be relaxed.
  3. Applicants should get the prospectus and admission form from the college office.
  4. Admission from duly filled should be submitted as per schedule of the college.
  5. All the relevant information are shown on the Notice Board, of the college.
  6. All Change of section or paper is permissible.
  7. No Change Certificate shall be accepted only in the prescribed format.
  8. False information or concealment of information shall be a disqualification.
  9. Students can interact with the Principal only during the time fixed by the Principal.
  10. The Candidates should not make any payment anywhere accept at the college accounts office and obtain proper receipt.
  11. Late and/or incomplete application or those without requisite fees or not submitted on the prescribed form shall not be entertained.
  12. Candidates are required to produced the original documents such as mark sheets/certificates of the qualifying examination etc. at the time of admission for verification.
  13. Smoking, chewing, drugs, plucking of flowers or fruits, damaging the college property is a punishable offence and might lead to rustication or expulsion.
  14. In case a student gets involved in any criminal case, he/she shall be expelled from the college on this ground forever.
  15. Scooters, bicycles and other vehicles are permitted to be parked only in the parking place.
  16. It shall be the duty of every student to maintain discipline and the dignity of the institution. Misbehavior with teachers and other staff shall be punishable.
  17. The college and its authorities do not take any responsibility of notifying the candidate individually or by post.
  18. Ragging is strictly prohibited and punishable offence by the authorities as well as college.
  19. Failure to complete admission process and its formalities by the prescribed date and time shall automatically disqualify the eligibility for admission.
  20. Holiday Notices shall always be put up on the college Notice Board as and when required. Holiday Notice, Fee Receipts, Admit Cards, Identity Card etc. because these Student must preserve their original.
  21. In the unfortunate event of theft of the vehicle or any other thing, the college shall not be liable in any manner.
  22. In the unfortunate event of theft and legal recourse i.e., filing of FIR etc. shall have to be followed by the form and to any extent person only.
  23. All admissions are provisional.
  24. Fees except caution money once deposited by a student shall not be returned nor adjusted under any circumstances.
  25. The college shall not be responsible in any manner for the postal delays/courier/destruction.

  27. If after enrollment in the college a student does not attend classes without leave for more than ten days his/her name shall be struck off from the college rolls.
  28. All disputes of any nature, arising from any action taken by the college shall be subjected to the jurisdiction of district court, Moradabad.
